How to use it
- Select a file in Finder and open its context menu. Choose a FilePilot action matched to its extension.
- Drag files to Assistant, choose Copy or Move in File Shelf, and drop the stack into a destination. You can also shake with Option to collect files.
- Press Option + Space and write your request. Review Quick Organize’s proposed names and destinations before applying them.
Scope and considerations
Finder extension activation and macOS permissions are required. Not every action supports every file or mixed batch. Copy and Move have different effects; check the destination and sources first.
Questions and answers
Why does the context menu change by file?
The extension, file group and selection count determine relevant tools. PDFs, images and videos do not share one action list.
Does collection immediately move files?
Collection gathers references. Actual copying or moving follows your chosen action and destination; review confirmation and output options.
