Clipboard, recent files and inbox

Copied content, a document you worked on and a new download are different records. FilePilot gives each its own entry: reuse clipboard content, reopen a recent file in its app, and review arrivals in the inbox.

How to use it

  1. Choose text, links or images in the clipboard panel and search the history.
  2. Filter Recent Work by application or filename. Open the file or reveal its location in Finder.
  3. Review new files through an Assistant notification or the inbox; choose the next action for that file.

Scope and considerations

Capture and visibility depend on enabled monitoring, app support, permissions and preferences. Detection of every file in every app is not guaranteed. Website examples contain no personal clipboard or usage history.

Questions and answers

Are clipboard history and recent files the same?

No. Clipboard holds copied content, recent files link to work history, and the inbox gathers monitored file arrivals.

Can I delete a sensitive record?

Select the relevant entry and review its delete options. Vault content and personal files are not sent to the web demo.
